About Oyster Cards

Oyster cards are the most convenient way to pay for travel on public transport in London. They can be used on buses, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail, Emirates Air Line, River Bus services and most National Rail services in London.

Peak and Off-Peak Times

Peak fares apply Monday to Friday (not on public holidays) between 06:30 and 09:30, and between 16:00 and 19:00. All other times are off-peak.

Student Discounts

Students can save 30% on adult-rate Travelcards and Bus & Tram Pass season tickets with an 18+ Student Oyster photocard.
